1945. Shortly after the end of World War II
In times of wild-west radio in the British occupation zone, a BBC employee, together with German "radio men of the first hour", joins the architects of the first public broadcaster on German soil.
Their task: to make occupier radio for the British victorious power.
Their goal: a liberal and democratic society in post-war Germany, contrary to the influence of precisely permitted parties, censorship attempts by the occupiers, communist infiltration and defamation by neo-nationalist forces.
They have no chance. But they use it.
